Negative affirmations

I've come to the cold realization that I am someone who NEEDS to be told that I am good in order to believe it. Lately (more like since last night) for whatever reason I have been depressed. Ive just been feeling like my life isn't going to pan out right. All down hill. Man I wish I had one of those cartoon conscience angels on my shoulder right now .

I've decided that I want to draw the 1st 151 pokemon. Those are the ones that i grew up with so I really want to do those! I might go a little further down the Poke'line :D
So here is Bulbasaur and Ivysaur! Venusaur is harder to draw than I thought so je is taking a little longer. But i will add him in there!

Bitten by the "Coloring Bug"

Anyone who knows me as an artist knows that i struggle with coloring (See above Pic). Pastels, Colored Pencils, Painting, Airbrushing, I've tried it all, but I still cant seem to like anything I create with color. But I wont give up. For some reason all Ive wanted to do lately is COLOR! Weird!

Elizabeth Taylor died last week, and I wanted to pay tribute to the actress the best way i know how. I drew her! I am mostly pleased with how the piece came out except that you can see the markers i used for the hair A LOT in the scan. Oh well :/
